Compress Images Online

Shrink JPG, PNG and WebP images while keeping the quality you need. Upload a picture, choose a quality level, then download the smaller file. Processing happens on our server and the uploaded file is deleted afterwards.

How It Works

Choose an image, set the quality slider, then press Run. The compressor re-encodes your file in its original format: JPEG and WebP use lossy compression at the quality you pick, while PNG is re-encoded losslessly at maximum compression. The result reports exactly how many bytes were saved, so you always see the real numbers.

Choosing the Right Quality

For photographs, a quality of 70–80 usually gives the best balance between file size and visual fidelity. Lower values produce much smaller files with more visible artifacts; higher values keep more detail but save less. If the output would be larger than the source, the tool tells you the image is already optimized.

JPEG, PNG and WebP

JPEG is best for photos, PNG for graphics, icons and screenshots that need sharp edges, and WebP for the smallest files on the web. Compressing keeps the original format, so nothing about your workflow changes — only the file size does.

Privacy & Security

Uploaded images are used only to create your result and are removed after processing. Download links expire automatically and your files are never shared or sold.

Free & Unlimited

No registration, no daily limits and no watermarks. Compress as many images as you need.

Frequently asked questions

How much smaller will my image get?

It depends on the image and the quality you choose. Photos commonly drop 40–70%, while already-optimized files may barely change. The exact saving is shown after each run.

Does compression reduce image quality?

JPEG and WebP are lossy, so some detail is discarded at lower quality settings. PNG stays lossless. Use the slider to find the point where the file is small but still looks good.

Are my images kept on the server?

No. Uploaded files are deleted after processing and download links expire automatically.
